MOUNT WASHINGTON, Ky. —
A Jefferson County Public Schools teacher was arrested after police said she gave more than a dozen kids drugs and alcohol during a New Year’s Eve party.
Lindsey Lewis is charged with 14 counts of unlawful transaction with a minor.
Mount Washington police officers arrived at a house on Boaz Lane just after midnight after receiving complaints from a neighbor.
Police found more than 40 people inside when they arrived at the scene, 14 of whom were under the age of 18.
Many of them admitted to drinking alcohol and smoking marijuana.
Officials said Lewis is a teacher at Phoenix School. She has been a teacher since 2016.
A spokesperson with JCPS said they are just learning of the arrest and are addressing the matter.
